Will County Medical Associates is proud to offer our patients iHealth, including the iHealthRecord and Secure Messaging.
What is the iHealthRecord?
The iHealthRecord is a secure and confidential online personal health record. This service not only stores personal health information for you and your family, it provides FDA product warnings and alerts and interactive programs that help you better understand medical conditions and medications--all at no cost to you!
You can create an iHealthRecord to manage and share your personal health information with your physician, family members, a caregiver, or in the event of an emergency. Once you register for iHealth, you will also find online forms available to help you prepare for your upcoming visit with your physician.
This is an elective program - as a patient of Will County Medical Associates you are not required to register with iHealth. The medical information you include in your iHealth record cannot be accessed by anyone with out your permission and at this time is not connected with your medical records at our facilities.
Click on the Home Page link to the left of this screen and go to the Patient Log In box to get started!
What is Secure Messaging?
Secure Messaging allows you to communicate with us via a secure server when you require a non-urgent appointment scheduled, a routine prescription refilled, or a routine question answered. Please be sure to call with any immediate needs.
To begin communicating with us via Secure Messaging, you must have registered with our practice via iHealth. If you have not yet registered, click on the "New User" link in the Patient Login box on our site home page. Just click the link and then fill in the short list of required fields on the form that opens. Required fields are noted with an asterisk (*) next to the field name. When you have completed filling in all of the required fields, click the "Send Registration" button at the bottom of the page. You will need to have a valid email address so that we can let you know if you have a new message.
Once our office has reviewed your registration, you will receive a message welcoming you to iHealth with a link to my iHealth page. By clicking the link, logging into iHealth, and accepting the terms of service, you can then go to your Message Center and see what message types you can use to communicate with us.
